TRUMPF Hüttinger is one of the world's leading manufacturers of process power supplies. Founded in Freiburg in 1922, part of TRUMPF since 1990.
For the hundredth anniversary the company wanted a brand film. It premiered at the Europa-Park Stadion in Freiburg in front of invited guests from politics and business, customers and suppliers. Among them Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Baden-Württemberg's Minister of Economic Affairs, and TRUMPF CEO Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller.
Beyond the ceremony, the film was to live on the homepage. As a quick overview and an emotional way into the company. One film had to carry both.
Process power is an invisible achievement. It sits inside semiconductors, solar cells, CT scanners and the radiation therapy used against cancer. Nobody using a smartphone or being slid into a scanner thinks about the generators that make it possible.
The balancing act was turning that invisibility into a story. Too close to the product and the film turns dry. Too far away and it loses its substance. It had to carry both, the precision of the technology and the reach of its impact.

Brand film with narration. Historical footage meets present-day applications. The logos of the different eras mark the road from 1922 to today, from the maker of electrical apparatus that Fritz Hüttinger founded in Freiburg to today's business fields of plasma technology, industrial heating, battery inverters and microwave generators. At the end, "Generating confidence" ties it all together.

Premiere on June 2, 2022 at the Europa-Park Stadion in Freiburg. The following day the anniversary was celebrated with employees at the Freiburg and Warsaw sites.
Today the film is embedded on the TRUMPF Hüttinger homepage. A hundred-year-old company doesn't need fifteen minutes of explanation, it needs one moment that holds everything together. That is what the film does in the brand's ongoing presence.
